Shelf life and storage

The products offered by Four 20 Pharma GmbH are starting materials for the individual production of prescription drugs in accordance with medical prescription, which are prepared individually for each patient.

The shelf life of individual products varies and is stated on the respective packaging. The expiry date only applies when properly stored in the original sealed packaging.

After preparation, cannabinoid medicinal products should be stored in a light-protected, airtight container at temperatures below 25 °C.

The shelf life of the manufactured formulation medicinal product should be set on the basis of pharmaceutical expertise. The stability and shelf life of the formulation drug are limited by the possible breakdown of active ingredients, in particular in the case of oxidation-sensitive substances. Information on this can be found in the DAC/NRF requirements under Section I.4.3 (“Shelf life information on NRF recipe requirements”).
